Nick Cox

Nick Cox is the Human Resources and Finance Manager at Hawaiian Waters The Colony and Garland in Texas. With two decades of operations experience in the amusement industry, his passion for training, development, and fostering a positive workplace culture continues on in his new role. He started his career at Kings Dominion in Virginia in 2003 in the Rides Department before transferring to the waterpark as a Supervisor in 2005. He was promoted to full-time in 2012 as an Operations Area Manager. Cox took a chance to push himself further in 2018 when he moved to Illinois to be the General Manager at Aqua-Tots Swim Schools until the pandemic. In 2022, he moved to Dallas and was the Director of Aquatics at Epic Waters Indoor Waterpark before making a shift in his area of focus to HR.
