Nicole Drexler began her career at Deep River Waterpark in 2012 working as a lifeguard. In the following years, she became a lifeguard lead and EMT until she was promoted to the park’s Water Safety Manager position in 2017. In that position she was responsible for the training and hiring of over 200 lifeguards per year. Always looking to expand her knowledge of all things water safety, in 2022 she became an American Red Cross Instructor Trainer, becoming the first person to obtain that certification while working at Deep River. Upon obtaining that certification, she started Drexler Aquatic Training Solutions, and now trains lifeguards and lifeguard instructors all over the US. In 2024, she was promoted and became the youngest General Manager in Deep River history, just in time for the parks 30th season. Drexler has spoken on panels for the Indiana Park and Recreation Association as well as serving on their board as Aquatics Chair, a position that has allowed her to promote water safety throughout the State.
