Adam Makowski, president and co-founder of Natura Destinations, oversees multiple hospitality properties in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin, including Natura Treescape Resort and the Land of Natura amusement park. The newest development, Land of Natura, is a 150-acre natural theme and water park featuring one of the world’s largest naturally filtered man-made lake and floating aqua park. The Makowski family has a deep history of resort ownership in the “The Waterpark Capital of the World!®”, spanning more than 50 years. They chose the name “natura,” as it is stands for nature in Polish, to honor their heritage and contributions to the area’s development. Alongside his lifelong education in the family business, Makowski earned a degree in Hospitality and Recreation Marketing Operations from Madison College.
