Alexandra Barbour is the Regional Director of Sales for Cowabunga Vegas Waterparks in Las Vegas, Nevada and currently serves as the Vice Chair for WWA’s Marketing Committee. Barbour’s career began as a Recreation Management Intern at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida. This role marked the beginning of a successful journey within the Walt Disney Company, where she held various Resort and Recreation Management positions. Her experience with Disney honed her skills in guest relations, operational efficiency, and strategic sales. In 2014, she moved back to Las Vegas, Nevada and started her journey with Cowabunga Bay during their inaugural season, where she quickly distinguished herself through various roles. Starting as a Guest Service Manager, Barbour’s dedication and expertise led her to roles as Revenue Director and ultimately General Manager. In 2022, she expanded her impact as the Regional Director of Sales, overseeing Group Sales and Community Engagement for both Cowabunga Bay and Cowabunga Canyon Waterparks in Las Vegas, Nevada. Her extensive experience and strategic vision have now positioned her to excel, drive growth and enhance the guest experience across the Cowabunga brand.
