Billy Hamilton has more than 46 years of experience in the Swimming Pool and Spa industry with 42 of those years spent in the waterpark industry, and 36 years as Water Quality Manager at Wet ‘n Wild in Orlando, Florida. As Water Quality Manager, he was responsible for all pools and water, including a lake, and played a major role in the development and design of new rides and attractions. He spent another 6 years as an EHS, Water Quality Supervisor at Universal Orlando Volcano Bay. Hamilton is a CPO instructor that enthusiastically teaches and shares his knowledge with others. Hamilton has spoken in a variety of settings including WWA symposia, on a variety of topics including water quality and aquatic attractions repair and maintenance. He also has spoken at the International Association of Amusement Parks & Attractions as well as The Amusement Industry Manufacturers & Suppliers Association. Hamilton lives his passion for water quality, safety, and excellence in the industry on a daily basis. He is a true water lover at work and away. Hamilton is an avid offshore fisherman and enjoys scuba diving. Hamilton resides in Titusville Florida. Hamilton served on the WWA’s Board of Directors and is a 2014 WWA Executive Board Award recipient. He was inducted into the WWA Hall of Fame in 2022.
