Bob Palma is the Director of Operations for the OC Waterpark and Adventure Golf, located on the beautiful Ocean City, NJ boardwalk. He was a Red Cross lifeguard for 6 years starting as a teenager and then trained lifeguards alongside his current boss and mentor for roughly a decade prior to diving in head first into this exciting industry just a short while ago. Previously a NASCO instructor, he now is a StarGuard ELITE Instructor, licensed CPO and POM, a ServSafe Instructor/Proctor with Manager certification, and a certified AIMS Maintenance Technician. Prior to joining the industry, Bob worked in the computer industry for 25+ years in the Managed Services field for Lumen Technologies (CenturyLink). His primary responsibilities included custom programming, system monitoring, data warehousing, and reporting for Fortune 500 companies. He holds numerous technology field certifications and continues to use them to computerize and modernize the OC Waterpark and Adventure Golf.
