Brett Blevins earned his Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Texas A&M University, then completed his MBA with a focus in Finance. At the age of 9, Blevins was an integral part of the development and decisions related to creating the Splash Kingdom Waterpark brand. Participating in planning sessions, construction and engineering meetings, interviews, pool prep, customer service training, park clean-up and inventory management were just a few of the initial components he was involved with. Over the past 17 years, Blevins has been central in every facet of the business, including expansion into the Shreveport market, then meeting with city leaders in Hudson Oaks, Nacogdoches, and Greenville. Blevins has met with slide suppliers, F&B representatives, design, and engineering firms as well as industrial construction contractors. Blevins has held his Lifeguard instructor license from Jeff Ellis and Associates for several years and assists with training and improving the Splash Kingdom aquatic safety teams. He has worked in or led every department in the parks and provides an encouraging leadership style to everyone around him. In 2015, Blevins was hired to provide leadership and aquatic consulting to the new waterpark concept, Typhoon Texas, located in Katy Texas. In addition to his role as corporate operations director for Splash Kingdom, Blevins served as the General Manager of the Texas Division for Mini Melts for several years. He received the Mini Melts Newcomer of the year in 2019. Blevins serves as the Vice President of Operations for Philippians 2:3 Consulting, where he leverages his extensive industry experience to collaborate with developers, designers, and manufacturers to ensure a high-quality, operator-friendly final product. Recently, Blevins spearheaded the reimagining of Big Dam Waterpark in Arkansas, transforming it from a foreclosure situation into a revitalized, vibrant destination for both the local community and travelers. Throughout this project, Blevins partnered with leading industry suppliers and integrated cutting-edge technology to create a truly exceptional park. Blevins married fellow Aggie, Meggan Plyler, in February 2020, and together they are raising their beautiful two-year-old daughter.
