Lisa Conn is currently the Marketing Consultant for the Hattiesburg Convention Commission. She formerly served as Marketing Director for Wesley Medical Center, was Director of Marketing and Public Relations at The University of Southern Mississippi, served as the Communications Director for the Office of the Governor of the State of Mississippi and was the Public Relations Director for the City of Hattiesburg. Conn is owner and sole proprietor of Quill Communication, offering public relations consulting, crisis management and strategic planning for individuals and businesses. She received her B. S. Degree in Speech Communications with an emphasis in Organizational Communications and a minor in Public Relations from The University of Southern Mississippi. Conn volunteers her time as a member of the USM Foundation Board of Directors and as a Board Member for the USM Partners for the Arts. She is a graduate of Mississippi Economic Council’s Leadership Mississippi Program and has been recognized as one of Mississippi’s 50 Leading Business Women and Mississippi’s Top 40 Under 40 by the Mississippi Business Journal.
