Sayan Gulino is the CEO of Waterbom Bali, Asia’s #1 waterpark as voted by TripAdvisor in 2023. Raised in Bali, his father, Santo Gulino founded Waterbom in 1993, and he first joined the waterpark at the young age of 13 via short stints with the operations team, from Locker Boy to Guest Relations Officer, while pursuing his education. He joined officially in 2008 and became CEO in 2017, overseeing several park development and expansion projects during his leadership. Gulino’s passion for preserving his island home and his environmental leadership have resulted in Waterbom’s sustainability program’s recent recognition as the Grand Title Winner in Sustainability and Social Responsibility at the 2023 Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) Gold Awards. He was recently featured in Blooloop 50 Theme Park Influencer List 2023, and was a finalist for the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year (EOY) 2023 Indonesia.
